SoonerCon Committee - Help Wanted!

Help Wanted! We have a few open concom positions we are looking to fill. Several of these are new positions being created for next year. Department Director positions require regular meeting attendance (meetings held monthly) and regular contact with other directors. Department Committee positions are good for those folks who can't make the commitment that Director requires.

Position #1 - Charity Auction Director. Coordinates with the Art Show director, and oversees the charity auction. Will work with our established practices in running the charity auction, using a concom appointed auctioneer. Responsible for working with Art Show Director on paperwork and records.

SoonerCon Position #2 - Exhibitors Director. Works directly with Con Chairman on promotion, layout, sales and promotion of exhibitor's hall, artist alley, and club tables. During convention is responsible for exhibitor check-in, and collection of sales tax information and other related paperwork.

SoonerCon Position #3 - A/V Coordinator - Committe position under Logistics Director. Coordinates all A/V needs and resources during convention and oversees timely deployment of said resources.

SoonerCon Position #4 - Marketing Director. Responsible for developing and growing press relationships, generation of press releases, and using tools such as facebook, twitter, and myspace to promote soonercon and communicate with the public. Answers directly to Executive Director.
