Charity Fundraisers at SoonerCon
SoonerCon has a long tradition of supporting worthy causes. This year will be no different. There will be numerous opportunities to help support This year’s charity – NAMI OKC Metro at SoonerCon this year. There will be a silent auction on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24, with a live auction held Saturday evening, June 24, 2017. Come to the Mann Room on the Second floor of the Reed Center to place bids. Books, clothing, art, and more will be available for purchase all weekend in the Charity Center. Proceeds from Nerf blaster sales are also part of the weekend’s charitable giving.
All proceeds will benefit NAMI OKC Metro and other charity partners. Representatives from NAMI will be available at the convention all weekend to explain more about their organization’s mission and efforts in Oklahoma City. Last year, SoonerCon raised $5,000 and hopes to top that this year with your help. Check out the video produced by NAMI about their experience at SoonerCon 25 here.
